The KCAA Varsity State Tournament and Cheerleading Competition was hosted by the Landmark Christian School on March 8-10, and was once again held at Valley High School in Louisville. Our cheerleaders competed on Saturday at noon with a fantastic routine, and brought home the second place trophy! Meghan Hickey and Caitlin Lesher were named to the All-State Cheerleading Squad. (The cheerleaders also found out recently that they placed eighth out of 40 teams in the National Competition in Orlando in January!)
Congratulations to all Blue Grass teams! It’s a joy to see such Christian-like attitude and conduct! We’ve had compliments from other schools, from restaurants, and even from the motels we stayed at! What a testimony!
Special thanks to coaches Nicole and Heath Dolen; Brian Monroe, Dan Lesher, and their wives for all their hard work in making our basketball season one of the best! Thanks also to the devoted parents and fans who graciously transported the teams and cheered them on! What a fantastic season!
